Short biographic note
Walter Chambati is the Projects Manager responsible for coordinating the research programme at the African Institute for Agrarian Studies, Harare. He is undertaking research on the impacts of the fast track land reform programme on former farm workers and the agricultural labour market in Zimbabwe. He teaches in the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Zimbabwe, and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Development Studies at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
