Short biographic note
Rural development specialist joined IFAP in 2004 as the Development Policy Coordinator from Kenya where she served as in the Ministry of Agriculture and as Chief Executive Kenya National Farmers Union. Involved in shaping policy for CSO/NGO participation in the development process, especially with the multilateral organisations relevant in rural development especially FAO and IFAD. Contributed towards the World Economic Forum on chapter on hunger, lead discussant for the World Development report (2008). Advocate for farmers involvement in the development process and to have their voices heard.
