Short biographic note
I am 52 years old and have a passion for agriculture as the best way to ensure sustainable development of Ghana and to create sustainable employment opportunities.
I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and also hold an M.BA in business strategy. I have done several short courses in finance and taxation.
My work experience spans 15 years (from 1984-1998) in the airline business (Ghana Airways) as Director of Finance and for the last five years Director of Corporate and Strategic Planning, and 2 years in particleboard manufacturing using wood waste, as Director of Finance.
Since 2000 I have been The Managing Director of Afrique Link Ltd, which I co-founded with a group of farmers. Afrique Link Ltd grows tomatoes and processes tomatoes and mango into purees, and other products for the domestic and West African markets.
I was also The Project Director of WENCHI TOMATO PROCESSING PROJECT (2002-2004), a GTZ/UNILEVER/AFRIQUE LINK/MINISTRY OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURE PPP project for training farmers in good agric practices for tomato production and linking them to markets.
